I love everything about this wedding. So relaxed, so happy, so fun. As soon as I met Angela I just knew it wouldn’t be any other way. Such a completely relaxed person, the wedding planning took a back seat to the marriage and sharing their day with family and friends. As long as her and Greg were married at the end of the day and everyone had fun, she was happy. That’s what it’s all about, right?
That said, while she left most of the planning to Lisa (one half of the amazing team at A Special Occasion), she did not miss even the tiniest detail. Since there is no bar at Holy Trinity, where both the ceremony and reception were held, she organized freezers for bags of ice, brought a trailer full enough to excite any mixologist, and even had to hire her own bartenders. She also organized caterers (Bertini’s who are AH-MAZING!), cakes and cupcakes (including gluten-free for family members), JELLO SHOOTERS (YESSSSS!) for the reception, and a beer cake and special gift delivered to her husband-to-be the morning of the wedding. Even her brother got in on the planning and spent the week leading up to the wedding using his new leaf blower to make a huge pile of leaves in his backyard for the photos! Details! Details! Details!
This was a happy blending of two beautiful families, her boys, his girls and each other. A story very near and dear to my heart. So I couldn’ help but shed a tear or two behind the lens when each of their children spoke at the reception about the love and acceptance of each other, and the happiness that Greg has brought into Angela’s life. So many reasons to celebrate this union, and celebrate they did! My wonderful second shooter, Crystal, and I even got in on a little of the jello!
Angela and Greg, I am so happy to have had the opportunity to meet you both, you are two beautiful souls who were absolutely made for each other. I am thrilled that you chose me to witness and document such a important day in your lives. xoxo
Isn’t this room just stunning? The ladies from A Special Occasion and the theatre did the most amazing job with the decor and lighting!
