They met in Cancun and were engaged in Playa Del Carmen.  It’s only fitting that they went back to Mexico to make it official!

Kerrie and Lee know how do things up right, with celebrations that started last Fall.  Kerrie and her fave girls celebrated her last few months as a single woman in Venice Beach, while the boys tore up Vegas.  Everyone came together in February at the El Dorado Seaside Suites in Riviera Maya to witness their marriage, and to keep the party going!

The week was amazing, the resort is definitely the prettiest I have ever seen, the service was impeccable and well, it was Mexico with great people.  The week couldn’t have possibly gone any better, and the wedding day went off without one single hitch.  I mean not one.  First of all, the Karisma Resorts certainly make you feel like your wedding is special and take extra care with brides’ requests; Kerrie’s flowers were stunning – both the bouquets and arrangements at the reception; the spa did amazing work with the girls’ hair and Kerrie’s makeup (I’m not gonna lie, we were biting our nails over this one!); and the staff were nothing short of amazing – the guys were even given a “getting ready” room with a stocked fridge and plenty of room for the five of them to relax with champagne and snacks.

Choosing your bridal party such an important decision, and being a part of a bridal party such an important role to play.  It was very obvious that this bridal party loves Kerrie and Lee with all of their hearts.  They put their bride and groom first throughout the week, put their hearts into every detail, and savoured every moment.  They are truly beautiful people inside and out.

The wedding day was full of laughs, just a few tears and love.  Lots and lots of love.  It was perfect.

Cutest and most thoughtful idea ever!  Kerrie’s sister put these old, new, borrowed and blue gifts together.  Inside each was a charm that represented special people in Kerrie’s life, they were attached to a pin and then pinned to the inside of her dress.

Kerrie and Lee, thank you so much for inviting me to document such a perfect day.  Perfect is the only way to describe it, and you both deserve no less than that for your day.  I’m so happy to have spent the time with you, and so incredibly excited to show you the rest of your images. xo

Hi, I'm Chrystal (she/her) and I'm so happy you're here!

If you're looking to feast your eyes on couples in love, raw emotion and vibrant scenes, you've come to the right place.

I'm an Edmonton wedding photographer for couples madly in love, and those who love to laugh right from their hearts (and bellies).  Over the past 10 years I've been very lucky to photograph weddings of all kinds and sizes including Christian, Sikh, Hindu, Muslim, Fijian, Chinese weddings and all sorts of fusions.  I've photographed teeny tiny elopements to grand celebrations, LGBTQ+ weddings and inter-racial weddings, as well as destination weddings in places like Mexico, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Las Vegas, Canmore, Banff, and Newfoundland - in addition to the beautiful Edmonton weddings and Fort McMurray weddings I've had the privilege to be a part of.

I would love to here more about you.  LET'S CONNECT!
