The day after Kerrie and Lee’s beautiful and super fun wedding shared with 50 of their closest family and friends, just the three of us went out on an adventure to a palm tree jungle and a dip in the ocean for a “trash the dress” or day after session.

We call it a trash the dress, but in all honesty it’s not trashed at all.¬† It’s just a little sandy when we’re done, but there’s a way to fix that ūüėČ

I posted about Kerrie and Lee’s wedding day here, where I talked about the amazing resort they choose, the beautiful people they picked to stand beside them and little bit about them.¬† This post is all about them.

Kerrie is the outgoing one.¬† The talkative, super social, always smiling, fun girl¬†and a¬†super organized nursing student.¬† Lee is the quiet, relaxed, go-with-the-flow kind of guy.¬† Always happy, always friendly with a sincere heart. ¬†Both are absolutely beautiful, inside and out, you just can’t help but love them both from the moment you meet them.

They were both so excited about this wedding, spending the time with their friends and family, and coming back to Canada as husband and wife.  She cried as she read the card he gave her on the wedding day, he cried as she came down the aisle.  It was beautiful to watch unfold after almost a year of excitement and planning that lead up to the day.

The next day was just as beautiful, but in a different way.  They were married, had no where to be, no guests to entertain, they could just be alone and enjoy each other on their very first day of marriage.  They frolicked, they laughed and they got sexy (and got caught by a passerby!).  A great first day, indeed.

Where are¬†my geeks at?? ¬†For those interested the following¬†photo is actually 45 photos put together, shot with an 85 1.4f. ¬†It’s 7′ x 7′ in it’s original format….need a mural anyone?
Apparently the seaweed has been¬†a problem¬†on the Mexican beaches this past year, but I think¬†it’s kinda pretty glistening in the sun.
A rinse…
And a dip in the pool to get that sand out before calling it a day!  Funnest bride ever!

Hi, I'm Chrystal (she/her) and I'm so happy you're here!

If you're looking to feast your eyes on couples in love, raw emotion and vibrant scenes, you've come to the right place.

I'm an Edmonton wedding photographer for couples madly in love, and those who love to laugh right from their hearts (and bellies).  Over the past 10 years I've been very lucky to photograph weddings of all kinds and sizes including Christian, Sikh, Hindu, Muslim, Fijian, Chinese weddings and all sorts of fusions.  I've photographed teeny tiny elopements to grand celebrations, LGBTQ+ weddings and inter-racial weddings, as well as destination weddings in places like Mexico, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Las Vegas, Canmore, Banff, and Newfoundland - in addition to the beautiful Edmonton weddings and Fort McMurray weddings I've had the privilege to be a part of.

I would love to here more about you.  LET'S CONNECT!
