Fairmont Hotel MacDonald Wedding | Stephanie + Josh

Bride and groom in an Edmonton Park
Stephanie and her sister met me at my home office with books and checklists.  They had a set of questions and tons of excitement.  They grilled me about how the day would go.  Her sister glancing a wedding planning book every now and and making notes as we went.  It was the first wedding in their family and they were going to make sure it was perfect!
We started with hair and makeup at The Fairmont Hotel MacDonald.  The girls were super relaxed and enjoyed some pampering.  The guys were equally relaxed enjoying a hot shave before returning to their room to chill out with a drink.

Why do couples decide to do a first look?

Stephanie and Josh decided to do a first look.  They wanted to maximize the time spent with their families who came from across the country (Newfoundland, mostly) and across the pond (Australia, mostly).  Plus, Stephanie wanted to enjoy the herself as she was hosting of the biggest party of her life.
Almost 200 people attended the party.  The party start immediately, if you can imagine Newfies and Australians together.  The dance floor filled up as soon as dinner and speeches were over, despite the summer heat.
Stephanie and Josh, it was a great day with amazing people.  I’m so happy to have been invited to capture the true love of you two and the true joy of your families. xo

Hello!

I'm so happy you're here!

If you're looking to feast your eyes on couples in love, raw emotion and vibrant scenes, you've come to the right place.

I'm an Edmonton wedding photographer for couples madly in love, and those who love to laugh right from their hearts (and bellies).  Over the past 8 years I've been very lucky to photograph weddings of all kinds and sizes including Christian weddings, East Indian weddings, elopements, destination weddings in Mexico, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Las Vegas, Canmore, Banff, and Newfoundland (that's considered destination wedding photography, right?) and a New York City engagement session - in addition to the beautiful Edmonton weddings and Fort McMurray weddings I've had the wonderful opportunity to be a part of.

Enough about me, I would love to know more about you and your photography needs!
