Melinda & Tyler | Engaged | Fort McMurray, Alberta Photographers

Melinda surprised Tyler with a trip and tickets to a Red Sox game for Christmas one year.  She thought for sure he would ask her to marry him during that trip.  He didn’t.  She told me this story as we’re shooting their engagement session at the new baseball diamond at MacDonald Island.  So cute in her red sparkly running shoes, with tons of energy and he’s just shaking his head, going with the flow.

Since both Melinda and Tyler grew up here in Fort McMurray, we decided to incorporate some classic landmarks.  I love that we ended up choosing a gorgeous natural landscape in Abasand, a new construction at MacDonald Island, and old boom town landmark – the Boomtown Casino!  They all represent why we love Fort McMurray so much – natural beauty, growth, and change are what we’re all about up here!

Melinda and Tyler, I couldn’t be more excited for your wedding!  Thank you so much for the fun afternoon, for laughing it off when people wondered what the heck we were up to, and for being your amazing selves! xo

I'm so happy you're here!

If you're looking to feast your eyes on couples in love, raw emotion and vibrant scenes, you've come to the right place.

I'm an Edmonton wedding photographer for couples madly in love, and those who love to laugh right from their hearts (and bellies).  Over the past 8 years I've been very lucky to photograph weddings of all kinds and sizes including Christian weddings, East Indian weddings, elopements, destination weddings in Mexico, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Las Vegas, Canmore, Banff, and Newfoundland (that's considered destination wedding photography, right?) and a New York City engagement session - in addition to the beautiful Edmonton weddings and Fort McMurray weddings I've had the wonderful opportunity to be a part of.

Enough about me, I would love to know more about you and your photography needs!
