Tracy & Mark | Married in Fort McMurray, Alberta

As the saying goes, “everything happens for a reason”.  That couldn’t be more true for these two.  Their story is really something that touched me and many other of their guests.  I won’t tell the full story here, because it really is theirs to share.  I will say that after heartbreak and tragedy, Tracy and Mark found each other…Even though they were always just right there.  They have known each other their entire lives and their families have always been close, so close that friends were convinced that they were cousins (they are not, the mom’s set everyone straight on that!).  The day was a not only a celebration of their marriage, but a celebration of a union of a couple of families from small town Newfoundland.Tracy and Mark are definitely surrounded by loving friends and family who made sure their day was a memorable one.  Their friends, Steve and Cathy, played a huge part in their wedding day.  If you’re from Fort McMurray, you know them from our beloved Mitchell’s Café.  They hosted the ceremony at their beautiful Saprae Creek home, catered the delicious dinner and Steve made the cake.  With such a busy day ahead them, I could not believe they were so absolutely relaxed and sitting in their kitchen when I arrived!  They definitely make it look so easy.

It was a hot summer day, a perfect day for fate to play out its plan for Tracy and Mark!

Tracy & Mark: I’m so happy for you two.  Life has a funny way of working itself out sometimes, but it sure is worth it in the end.  You deserve all the happiness in the world! xoxo

Hello!

Hi, I'm Chrystal (she/her) and I'm so happy you're here!

If you're looking to feast your eyes on couples in love, raw emotion and vibrant scenes, you've come to the right place.

I'm an Edmonton wedding photographer for couples madly in love, and those who love to laugh right from their hearts (and bellies).  Over the past 10 years I've been very lucky to photograph weddings of all kinds and sizes including Christian, Sikh, Hindu, Muslim, Fijian, Chinese weddings and all sorts of fusions.  I've photographed teeny tiny elopements to grand celebrations, LGBTQ+ weddings and inter-racial weddings, as well as destination weddings in places like Mexico, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Las Vegas, Canmore, Banff, and Newfoundland - in addition to the beautiful Edmonton weddings and Fort McMurray weddings I've had the privilege to be a part of.
