Farm Fresh Florals in Sunnybrook, Alberta was the perfect back drop for Nana and Sam’s micro-wedding! I discovered this location on Instagram early in the wedding season (like many), and it quickly became a hotspot for intimate civil ceremony as we continue to work around COVID restrictions this summer.
Nana and Sam have planned a larger vintage Hollywood-theme celebration for next year. But for this year, they wanted to make it official this year on their original date. Farm Fresh Florals provided exactly what they were looking for in a laid-back, boho-inspired affair. The location also allows for physically distanced gatherings. So the small group could safely enjoy witnessing the marriage of two beautiful people.
Nana is very detail oriented and incredibly organized and vision is always very clear. This was evident in their amazing and fun downtown Edmonton engagement photos and this event was no different. She wore a floral veil that perfectly matched the decorated his and hers vintage rattan chairs that were used for signing their marriage certificate. It was also fit the colours and vibrancy of the location.
The simple, but chic, decor of gold and blue tied everything together. The bridal party helped with the set up and the result was gorgeous. This small outdoor ceremony did not lack detail and style. Then again, I never really doubted that it would. I’m very much looking forward to capturing their celebration next year. I also hope that 2021 brings more opportunities to photograph couples at this beautiful location!
